Dr. Chinthala is an adult and geriatric psychiatrist who attended medical school at the Osmania Medical College , Hyderabad, India and completed a residency in psychiatry at Indiana University, Indianapolis, Indiana and completed fellowship in Geriatric Psychaitry at Indiana University, Indianapolis, Indiana. Her long-standing interests include studying the interface between mental health and culture an examining philosophical and scientific persperctives of different systems of medicine as they pertain to the assessment and treatment of mental illness both in adullt as well as geriatric population.From 2005 through 2007 she worked as staff psychiatrist at V A Hospital. Dr Chinthala is working as a Geriatric Psychiatrist at Wishard Health Services, Indianaplolis, Indiana since 2008. Dr. Chinthala also in private practice at Osman Clinic and Associates in Indianapolis,Indiana.
